A multi-coloured raga if one was to be found. It has a richness and a command about it that transcends to one to another level. When sung with complete abandon, it brings out an emotion that nothing else can. It is one of the apt ragas for the portrayal of the Devi in all her glory and also the Bhakthi Bhava.

KVN’s moving rendition on Dattatreya Trimurti Roopa, a composition of Sri Ganapati Sachidananda Swami, tuned by KVN himself, is the most moving rendition of Ranjani that I have heard till now.

The reason I put up the lyrics was that I couldn’t find them anywhere.

And here’s the video of KVN’s rendition of this song – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rarAa_FoTY8
